This website exists to share all the information you need to know about the UW Seattle chapter of IISE for students, professors, and employers. 

IISE Election Sign Ups

Sign ups for the 2026-2027 IISE board positions are now live! Until April 26th at 11:59 pm, fill out the election form for each role you are interested in. 
There are nine positions and a total of eleven board positions available. Feel free to sign up for as many positions as you would like! For each position, please provide a short 25-200 word explanation why you are running and why you think other students should vote for you. 
Requirements:
  • Must be a student in the Industrial & Systems Engineering Department here at UW during the 2026-2027 school year
  • Must be a paid member of IISE (after winning)
  • Must be able to commit 3-5 hours per week. This includes weekly officer meetings, attending events, correspondence, and organizing events
  • Attend the ISE Appreciation Night on May 14th (Date tentative)
  • Attend training meetings at the end of this Spring quarter
Timeline:
  • April 26th @ 11:59pm: Last day to submit sign up form
  • April 29th - May 10th: Voting
  • May 14th: New officers are announced at the ISE Appreciation Night
  • End of May: Training meetings
  • June: New officers take over office

Upcoming Events

May 14th: Appreciation Night

Come celebrate the achievements of your fellow classmates and professors of the ISE department in our annual award ceremony, this year dubbed Appreciation Night! Awards will be given to students and professors based on YOUR voting. This event will run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Health Sciences Building room 101.

This event will also be where your 2026-2027 IISE board elects will be announced! Winners will be contacted prior to the event.

Graduation Stoles Available Now Until April 20th!

Commencement is just a quarter away for spring 2026 graduates!

IISE will be releasing stoles for the department of ISE for this special occasion. Our stoles are available NOW UNTIL APRIL 20th!!! Order yours here. They are available for $30 and will be available for pick up in May at the MEB.

Purchase of these stoles will not only be a great addition to your graduation outfit, but the funds raised will go to future IISE events held by the 2026-2027 officers! Please consider buying one of our stoles and rep ISE! Thank you! 

IISE Awards Voting!

The annual IISE awards ceremony is coming up on May 14th. In the mean time, voting is now open for student and professor awards! From now until April 24th, fill out this form to nominate your fellow students for one of five awards: Outstanding Contributor, ISE Ambassador, Student Leadership, Community Builder, and ISE Innovator.

​Additionally, you may nominate professors in the department for one of three awards: Excellence in Mentorship, Students Choice Best Research Professor, and Distinguished Professor. All awards will be announced at our ISE Appreciation Night, May 14th at 6:00 pm at the Health Science Building.
